No one wants to think that their boyfriend or husband is cheating on them, but if you notice any of these signs, it could be a cause for concern.
They act out of the ordinary
If you’ve been with your significant other for a long time, then you know how they typically act. You can recognize their daily routines and habits. If you notice that they seem “off,” then you might want to be on the lookout for other signs of cheating.
You might also take note that he’s less affectionate than usual, or that he’s interested in things he never used to pay attention to. Perhaps he’s listening to new music or suddenly has a desire to work out or cook. These could all be signs that he has been influenced by another woman and that he’s trying to impress her.
He’s combative
When a guy is cheating, he needs to live a double life, and that can be making excuses. It isn’t uncommon for cheating men to start arguments or get into a bad mood when they are with a suspicious girlfriend or wife. If you notice that his negative mood is becoming a regular thing, this is a bad sign.
He’s suddenly secretive or very private
This is easy to notice if you’ve been with him for a while. If he’s suddenly over-protective of his phone or computer, or if he declines to tell you where he’s going or where he’s been, you can count this as a red flag.
He mixes up details and information
Perhaps he calls your sister by the wrong name or gets your work schedule wrong. He’s mixed up on the details of your personal life and starts to blur the lines between experiences he had with you and those he had with someone else. It’s a telltale sign that he’s seeing someone else on the side.
